PRIVACY FIRST

Privacy policy

Beta release — October 2026. DigForDoc processes uploaded images, PDFs, DOCX documents, spreadsheets, CSV files and text locally inside the user's browser. We do not provide a server that receives or stores the content of documents processed using these tools.

Information handled

Files and text are kept in browser memory while tasks run. If you choose to save a business profile, company logo, customer information, service presets or invoices in Invoice Studio, that information is stored in local browser storage on the device being used. These records are not encrypted, may be visible to other people sharing the same browser profile, and are not synchronized between devices. Browser data clearing or private browsing can erase saved information. You may export a local JSON backup, import it on another device, or erase saved Invoice Studio records from its settings. The site does not require user accounts. Resume backups are downloaded to the user's device when requested. Browser caching of website files may occur as part of normal operation.

External services

DigForDoc is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Requests for website hosting and security may be logged by Cloudflare. The site also loads Google Fonts and third-party PDF, QR code, DOCX and spreadsheet conversion libraries from third-party content delivery networks. These providers may see ordinary network data such as IP addresses, user agents and request times. Uploaded document contents are intended to remain in browser memory, not transmitted to CDN providers as part of the tool workflow. As with any third-party script, users should avoid uploading highly confidential information until independent security testing is completed.

Advertising and analytics

The current beta contains no advertisement scripts or analytics integration. If those are introduced, this privacy policy will be updated before launch and additional consent/notice mechanisms will be added where required.

Converter limitations

PDF-to-Word in this beta extracts selectable text and creates an editable DOCX; it does not faithfully reproduce the original page layout, tables or images. DOCX-to-PDF offers a printable HTML preview: users must choose Print / Save as PDF in the browser, and complex formatting may change. CSV/XLSX conversions process worksheets in the browser but CSV cannot preserve formulas and formatting. Document conversion libraries load only when those tools are used.

Important limitations

The PDF Unlocker requires an existing known password, then creates an image-based copy. The password is not saved. This may lose digital signatures, selectable text, links and forms. The PDF compressor may rebuild scanned document pages as images; links, searchable text and form fields can be lost. Always verify the output before use. Keep originals and do not treat DigForDoc as a file storage service.
